Most of you knew Linda, her vibrant personality, tenacity, and keen sense of fashion. Despite her numerous medical challenges, her life was enhanced by wonderful people who became her Fairy Godmothers.

Linda connected us all. At the gala, we formally launched Linda’s legacy, the Fairy Godmother Foundation of New York, dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with medical, physical, mental health, and developmental challenges, by making dreams come true! Special thanks to the Board of the Fairy Godmother Foundation for their tireless efforts to make tonight’s gala spectacular and to Ricardo Magalhaes and Terrace on the Park for giving Linda a wonderful 15th birthday party and for their tremendous support in making her legacy a reality.
Thanks too, to all our friends, colleagues, and families, those here and those who sent their support. Tonight everyone has the opportunity to be a Fairy Godmother and Godfather. Everyone who supports the Foundation is part of a movement. We are all Fairy Godmothers and Godfathers: breaking through barriers, improving quality of life, giving meaningful and joyful experiences, instilling hope, and making dreams come true!
